By downloading, installing, or using the USVI Life app (“the App”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the App.
2. Description of Service
The App is a free companion reading app for the USVI Life blog (usvilife.com), allowing you to browse, search, filter, save, and share articles about life in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
3. No Account Required
The App does not require you to create an account, register, or provide any personal information to use it.
4. Content
All articles, images, and other content displayed in the App are sourced from usvilife.com and remain the property of USVI Life. Content is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may share articles via the App’s built-in Share feature; you may not otherwise republish, redistribute, or claim ownership of USVI Life content.
5. Availability
The App requires an internet connection to fetch new content (previously saved articles remain available offline). We do our best to keep the App and its content available, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted access — usvilife.com or the App may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control.
6. Third-Party Links
Articles may reference or link to third-party websites or services. We aren’t responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site.
7. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The App and its content are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Content about businesses, activities, travel conditions, or locations in the U.S. Virgin Islands may change or become outdated — always verify current details (hours, availability, safety conditions) independently before relying on them, especially for anything safety-related. To the fullest extent permitted by law, USVI Life is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App or reliance on its content.
8. Changes to the App or These Terms
We may update the App or these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We reserve the right to discontinue the App at any time.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States Virgin Islands, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in the United States Virgin Islands, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
